Personal Real Estate & Neighborhoods

Inheriting an interest and instinct for real estate from her parents, Jane continues to acquire and reposition real estate on a personal level. Her first house was purchased in 1988 in partnership with her father and was located in East Nashville's Lockeland Springs, at the time one of the pioneering historic neighborhoods in Nashville. Involvement in the neighborhood association was required to enforce neighborhood down-zoning which included working with Nashville's Board of Zoning Appeals.

In Wellington, she has served as Chairman of the Equestrian Preserve Committee since 2016.  That board reports to the Planning Board on land use matters concerning the Equestrian area in Wellington.

Little East Fork Road, Franklin, TNThe Nashville Barn Project:25 acres of beautiful valley land was assembled to provide a site for a dressage barn and boarding facility. The land is flat, surrounded by creeks along Big East Fork Road and has access to nearby Highway 96 via Little East Fork Road.

All necessary engineering work was performed to enable entitlement for a 24-stall commercial barn.  It was approved in 2006/7, but the project was postponed. Subsequently, it was decided not to pursue the project for personal reasons not relating to the site or viability of the project.
